Client - Tube Lines Limited - Organisational Cases for Safety
As part of Tube Lines second review period, and in conjunction with the change of ownership to Transport for London, the company undertook a major reorganisation exercise across all Departments to generate cost savings and improved efficiencies to working practices. In particular the Operations Department took the opportunity to move from a line based asset maintenance regime to an asset based system.

DMA Service Provided: Organisational Case for Safety Production. DMA was commissioned to produce a number of Cases for Safety to demonstrate that the proposed organisational changes in the Signals, Track and Civils Departments could be undertaken whilst managing the risk as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP). Work included a structured risk assessment of the relevant issues, production of the Cases for Safety in accordance with the guidance of The Engineering Safety Management Issue 4 'Yellow Book' and the presentation and approval of the evidence by the Safety Review Group (SRG).
