March 2011 DMA to Deliver Assurance on DLR Extension to Stratford International
DMA has secured a new assignment to deliver the assurance evidence necessary to allow the opening of the Docklands Light Railway Stratford International Extension (SIE). Working for the Skanska-Volker Rail Joint Venture (SVRJV), DMA has been asked to assist in the final close out of the project which is already constructed and currently undergoing testing and commissioning. DMA have been commissioned to deliver the Case for Safety for the opening of the railway to passenger services, including Technical Cases, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, the Health & Safety File under CDM Regulations and Asset Data. The remit we have been given is very similar to the work we have just completed on the East London Line Project and it is testament to the success of that exercise that we have been entrusted to deliver this assignment. We have a large amount of work to undertake in a very short space of time but I am confident that with the help from our colleagues in the Joint Venture and the experience of our associates in this kind of challenge we will be successful”.New Recruit
